Against this brilliant lightshow, the iconic silhouettes of native boab trees rise up with their rotund trunks and twisting branches, forming a classic and enduring symbol of the territory's raw natural beauty.

Design

The high relief reverse showcases a detailed engraving of a boab tree within the Kimberley landscape. 22-carat rose gold gilding along the outer rim and foreground accentuate the sunset. A hand-set Argyle Pink Diamond™ sun radiates bright gold engraved light rays. The reverse inscription reads 'KIMBERLEY SUNSET' alongside the 'P' mintmark, year-date, weight, and purity, bearing the initials 'TV' for designer Thomas Vaughan. The obverse features the official Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, denominational value, and country of issue.
