Those born under the sign of the Chinese lunar rabbit in 2023, 2011, 1999, 1987, 1975 and every 12th preceding year are said to be intelligent, creative, vigilant, and compassionate.

Issued as Australian legal tender, the uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin’s reverse and obverse designs.

DESIGN

The coin’s reverse portrays an alert rabbit with its ears erect and another rabbit stretching towards a budding branch. Included in the design is the Chinese character for ‘rabbit’, the inscription ‘RABBIT 2023’ and the Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

The obverse of the coin depicts the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2023 year-date and the monetary denomination.

OFFICIAL AUSTRALIA POST STAMP

Affixed to the envelope are official Australia Post $1.20 and $3.60 stamps. The stamps are postmarked for the first day of issue and the envelope includes Australia Post's Seal of Authenticity.
