2009 Master Mintmark

$1 Uncirculated Coin

In 2009 the Royal Australian Mint saw the completion of the biggest upgrade of its facilities since it was first built in 1965. To commemorate the occasion this $1 uncirculated coin was struck with a special Master Mintmark featuring the letter C with a kangaroo passing through it.

The coin is presented in special die-cut packaging which folds into a miniature Mint building.
