A unique tribute to Australian TV icon Neighbours, featuring one of the Royal Australian Mint's 'Great Australian Coin Hunt' series 'N' coins.

A television institution, Neighbours had its first Australian broadcast on 18 March 1985. Thirty-four years and nearly 8,300 episodes later, it has earned its place in the history books as Australia's longest running and most successful drama. The brainchild of television pioneers Reg Grundy and Reg Watson, and drawing on Watson's experience of growing up in suburbia, the nightly drama was created for both Australian and UK audiences. Ramsay Street, Erinsborough has since become one of Australia's most recognisable  addresses internationally.

Neighbours continues to attract legions of devoted fans and is the recipient of countless awards and accolades, including, most recently, six nominations at the 2019 TV Week Logie Awards. The series has launched the careers of some of the biggest names in show business, including those of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Guy Pearce, Margot Robbie and Delta Goodrem, and it continues to cultivate new and burgeoning talent.

The stamp is postmarked for the first day of issue, 22 October 2019.
