Design

The coloured reverse captures a red kangaroo in full stride along Australia's coastline as the warm colours of the setting sun shimmer across the ocean. The design also features The Perth Mint's renowned 'P' mintmark, the inscription 'AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO', together with the coin's weight, fineness and 2026 year-date, displayed over a pattern of flowing, undulating lines.

Technical Information

For enhanced security and authenticity, the coin incorporates a micro-laser engraved letter. Visible only under magnification, this discreet feature provides an additional level of protection by making the coin significantly more difficult to counterfeit.
