Design

The coin is shaped to closely resemble a Diet Coke® can, with the familiar silver colouring and distinctive red and black Diet Coke® branding recreated through colourisation. Detailed features include the characteristic can silhouette, pull-tab design and condensation droplets, creating an eye-catching representation of the iconic beverage container.

The obverse features the Public Seal of Niue together with the coin's $2 denomination, 2026 year-date, silver weight and purity details and an individual serial number.

Presentation

The can shaped coin is housed in a specially designed transparent capsule inspired by a block of ice, creating the appearance of a chilled Diet Coke® can. The coin is protected inside a replica Diet Coke® can, with replica ice blocks.

The distinctive presentation complements the unusual shape of the coin and makes the release particularly well suited to display. Each coin is individually serialised, with a worldwide mintage limited to just 4,000 pieces.
