Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and has an unlimited mintage.

DESIGN

The coin's reverse portrays coloured images of gifts, balloons and a birthday spread, comprising a cake, cupcakes, fruit and lemonade. The design also includes the inscription 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY', the year-date, weight and purity and The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark.

The coin bears the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the monetary denomination.
