Design:
The reverse of the coin portrays a bounding kangaroo and its joey in colour. Other coloured elements in the design comprise a grassy plain with red soils and hillocks on the horizon.

As well as the inscription ‘KANGAROO’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the reverse also incorporates the coin’s weight, purity and 2022 year-date. The obverse bearsthe Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the coin’s monetary denomination.

Technical Notes:
The coin has been struck with an extra-deep blank to showcase its superbly detailed design in high relief.
