Illustrated by Australian artist Elise Martinson, this series is inspired by dreamy newborn basket photography, a trend adored by parents all the world over.

Issued as Australian legal tender, the uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin’s reverse and obverse designs.

Design

The coin’s reverse depicts a cute baby kangaroo asleep in a fleece-lined nest surrounded by colourful Australian native flowers and wildlife. The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark also appears on the reverse.

The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year-date and the monetary denomination are depicted on the coin’s obve

Themed Envelope

As well as featuring a colourful young roo asleep in a flowery basket, the dusky coloured postage paid envelope also features a Greenbushes WA post mark dated 24 March 2021.

Official Australia Post Stamp

The coin is presented in an illustrated card and pre-paid postal envelope which is post marked for the first day of issue. The envelope also includes Australia Post’s seal of Authenticity.
