Perth Mint are excited to release this 2oz silver bullion piedfort coin featuring a mother kookaburra standing protectively over her baby chick. 

It is the third design in Perth Mint's Mother and Baby Series.

The Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mintmark and a background of radial lines are also included in the design. Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin’s obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2020 year-date, the weight and purity and the monetary denomination and has a mintage of 75,000. Struck from 2oz of 99.99% pure silver on an extra-thick blank, this release has a mintage of 75,000.

AUTHENTICATION FEATURE 

Each coin’s reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. It is only detectable under a magnifying glass.

presented without a capsule.

Larger orders come in convenient protective acrylic tubes of 10 coins without individual capsules, each tube is sealed with The Perth Mint’s tamper evident security seal.

Orders of 100 coins are presented without capsules in 10 protective acrylic tubes housed in a monster box, which is suitable for secure storage in third-party safe deposit boxes.
