Lunar tiger design

The coin portrays a protective tiger leading its cub through ferns and bamboo in a rocky terrain. Also included in the design is the Chinese character for ‘tiger’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Seal of Authenticity

Affixed to a richly illustrated envelope featuring equally captivating tiger artwork, $1.10 and $2.20 stamps bear images of the tiger as a symbolic ‘lucky waving cat’ as well as Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity.
