These two 2006 50 cent Royal proof 50¢ coins were designed to celebrate  the Queen's Royal Visit to Australia,
as well as her 80th Birthday.
 
The reverse design on the Royal Visit coin represents "the stability of  the Crown contrasted with the rapid growth  of Australia", whilst reverse  design on the birthday coin symbolises the strong link between
the United  Kingdom and Australia in celebrating Her Majesty's 80th birthday.
